a damn hot afternoon is no good time to think. been lazing around lately, trying to read a little. currently on this book called the feng shui master goes south. highly interesting. plus it has a local setting, which is cool. other than that, been trying to run some too. though not very succcessfully. i know my fitness level is lower than low. something i've got to work on before i get into ns that is. speaking of which, a few friends are already in there.. hmm i don't mean for it to sound like it's some sort of torturous place, in there.. but it's not exactly a holiday camp either. guess we'll have to be really fit for it. or they'll make us. not a bad thing. except that it wastes two years of our lives. when we could actually be studying! see, when someone prefers studying to something else, that something else must be not too pleasant huh. ya, i see my friends going for scholarship interviews and presentations and whatever, and i'm like chucking all that aside. makes me wonder what i'm doing. so, i'd better get my 4 As.. yea. heh easy task huh. oh just watched fahrenheit 911. it's like some documentary we'd watch back in ri. of course i realise it really is a biased look at bushie, but nevertheless insightful.

oh and thanks to the peeps who came down a couple of days ago for the bbq. it was lotsa fun. prob the last time we had any sort of gathering with respectable attendance. you guys have been a great bunch. fun, but when it comes to studying, we do not lose out too. how cool is that. but there's this niggling feeling that our class is rather fragmented. well, perhaps two years(actually less) isn't a long enough time. nevertheless, it's been wonderful to know you all.

feel like getting out of the house, but i'm lazy. see ya.

grad night two nights ago. quite a cool thing. the only thing to do at grad night is to take photos, you know. one event lighted up the night. gee. i enjoyed the night after more. pity we didn't do much. i mean, more. well, watching sun wukong in the early hours was damn interesting. what with saleem commenting on the special effects, which was extremely childish. and let me tell something. damn cool. we were like swimming at the conrad pool. then some guy walks over to our table and places water and oranges there for us. how cool is that. and donald and i were just enjoying ourselves there. i feel that perhaps, grad night is just the end of it all. the end of uniformed schooling days. of 12 years. from now on, everything's so unsure. and ppl are going into ns very soon already. i don't know when we are going to see one another again. wait, that's tomorrow actually, since we're having a bbq at my place. haha. ok, i mean after this year. ah, i'll be going to the US to visit my aunt, who's paying for the trip. she stays at seattle, so we'll be going up to canada too. you know, it's so damn near canada. so near, so far. ahh. down to california too i think. and will be back two days before enlistment. so i hope can adjust very fast. why is it raining every day? argh.
